About Lisa
Indy Support Services is a solo practitioner, private practice located in the Murrindindi Shire of Victoria, Australia. It was developed by myself, I have strong roots within the regional community. And I am very dedicated and passionate about my roles within the community.
I have over 5 years of experience both as a support worker and as a counsellor. And hold a bachelor’s degree in social science - counselling and community services in youth work and disability sectors.
I am a single mother, who has raised my family alone and without support. I have personal experience in grief and loss, trauma, life stressors.
I enjoy spending time with my 3 grown children, friends, being creative, reading, spending time in nature, tai ch and State Emergency Service (SES, volunteer).

During a counselling session you have the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of your life and your situation. I can help you to identify issues in a confidential, supportive and meaningful interaction. Together we can explore options, develop strategies and increase self-awareness and develop a deeper understanding.
I offer a range of counselling settings including online and telephone counselling, this can be accessed throughout Australia. For clients that want to see me face to face I offer walk and talk sessions, in Yea Victoria.

I work closely with clients, respecting their autonomy and promoting self-determination. By providing guidance and encouragement, I help clients to build up their confidence and develop the necessary skills to make informed decision. And lead meaningful lives while navigating the challenges they may face.
